In Collaboration with Prayatna - A Commitment Towards True Inclusion

At Shanti Asiatic School (SAS), inclusion is more than an educational ideal -it’s an everyday commitment to recognize, respect, and respond to every child’s unique journey. To strengthen this commitment, SAS has become the first and only school in the region to offer a comprehensive, professionally-run Resource Room within its campus.

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) - 2020, we have Collaborated with Prayatna Counselling and Early Intervention Center.

About Prayatna

Prayatna, founded in 2010 as a mental health and early intervention organization is known for its scientific, child-centered, and system-aligned approach to school support. Prayatna was conceptualized on the belief that “Every Child is Special”. Since then, with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, special educators, counselors, Occupational Therapists, Prayatna has been working with numerous schools, institutes and families to not only build compassionate support systems but also to bring measurable progress in students’ learning, behavior, and emotional growth. They have meaningfully impacted countless children’s lives - fostering academic growth and holistic well-being.

Why the Resource Room?

While inclusion ensures that every child has a place in the classroom, the Resource Room ensures that every child has a chance to thrive. It provides specialized support for students who may benefit from individualized attention.

What the Resource Room Offers?

All services offered through the Resource Room are provided entirely free of cost, with no extra or hidden charges to the parents. SAS believes that access to support should not be a matter of affordability, but a matter of right.
