The 75th Republic Day, was celebrated by Shanti Asiatic School (Senior School) with great pomp and fanfare on January 26, 2024 at the AUDA Sports Centre, Manipur – Ghuma.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Ms. Pragnya Mohan, Chairman Shri Brijmohanji Chiripal and other esteemed dignitaries from SBS and SAS. Enthusiastic parents and students also thronged the AUDA sports center with tremendous gusto.
The program began with the ceremonial Guard of Honour followed by Unfurling of Tricolour. As the tricolour unfurled, every heartbeat echoed a sense of pride and glory for their nation. Invigorating March Past by the students of various houses – Agni, Jal, Prithvi and Vayu added an energetic tempo to the celebrations.
Bharatiyam-2024 was thereafter declared officially open by the Chief Guest. The athletic meet torch, which was carried by the torch bearers around the ground & the oath led by the sports faculty, accentuated the values and principles of the event. It created a sense of optimism & inspiration among one and all present in the ground.
The entire celebration, was an amalgamation of dance, music, sporting skills and athletic events. Every minute of the program was full of entertainment and excitement for the audience. It displayed unmatched talent of the students & their zest for life.
