Shanti Asiatic School celebrated its annual sports meet, Bhartiyam-24 on January 27, 2024 at the AUDA Sports Center.
More than 1500 students, from Classes I to IV took part in various fitness and wellness activities. The event was flagged off by lighting of the torch followed by March Past. While athletic events included Flat Races and Obstacle Races, the fitness and wellness activities included Zumba and Yoga performances.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mr Kasi Rajan Maruthan who, in his address lauded the young children for participating in the events with so much enthusiasm.
Other than sports activities, the event was also enlivened by music and dance performances by the students of the junior school.
The event concluded with prize distribution ceremony followed by a vote of thanks.
